Hello 2015, Hello New You

Happy New Year!!

Well another year gone, and new one begins, it's time for a fresh start and to make it possibly one of the best years of your life!

First things first, don't dwell on the bad that happened in 2014, it's a new year and a new you, time to focus on the positives and what the future will bring you, it's down to you to make it brilliant.

Second, top all of last years positives, did well in an exam?
Beat it!!, make it your goal to do better this year, it's that time where we can decide what we want and to make it happen, anything is possible if you put your mind to it!
And if you want it bad enough and work for it, it will happen!

I have quite a few goals set for myself this year, I can see 2015 being a good year for me!

My Goals For 2015

1. Focusing on my blog

Blogging has really become a big part in my life, it's my space to write what I want and how I feel, I love writing and there is nothing I want more than to focus on that and improve what I am doing, even though I have only just started I can see this becoming something really good!

2. Make new friends on the internet

This sort of comes part of the parcel with No. 1 (Hopefully) as well as focusing more on my blog, I want to focus on making new friends through blogging, I want to make friends and read more of your blogs too, so feel free to comment your links!

3. Get a New Camera

I love my camera it's a Sony Cybershot and I have only had it a couple years but I want to upgrade to something a little newer and better quality, I'm looking to improve my photography because I want to include better and more pictures into my blogs! Canon are really appealing to me right now, also Nikon but your opinions are more than welcome, what camera's do you use? And what would you recommend to me?

4. Gym

The gym has always been a big part of my life, I'm not addicted but I like to feel healthy and focus on feeling the best I can, but like a lot of people as soon as it's gets to winter I start to hibernate, and I start putting on the pounds (nothing wrong with this though, keeps you warm right?) but as it's the new year it's time to shed the few extra pounds and get back in the gym ready for summer, be happy with yourself though, gym makes me happy but I would never go overboard, I like to eat the odd bit of chocolate!

5. Complete my Nail Technician Professional Course

For just over a year I have been doing an at home College course to become a nail technician, I love nails and nail art and I really want to make it my second job!
I'm not just a bookworm, and I intend on posting nail and beauty reviews in the future, also what nail art I have done.

6. New Home

Over Christmas me and my partner have been doing a crazy amount of overtime, which is still ongoing, we are saving to move in together as we currently live separately and want nothing more than to share our lives together! From next month we will be looking and hopefully moving into a new house, I really can't wait, this is the big one and what I am looking forward to the most this new year, I can't wait to spend our first Christmas together.

So 6 goals for me this New Year, what are yours? and do you have any New Year resolutions?

I'm going to start doing some competitions and giveaways, give me some idea's on what competitions I should do by leaving me a comment below.

  3. I have a nikon camera, which I love (but still don't know how to utilize to the best of its abilities). However, if you are looking to record videos, I was told a cannon stays in focus whereas the Nikon does not. You have to keep refocusing it. Each one has great possibilities though! I don't think I would trade my Nikon for the world. lol I hope this helped :)

  5. Love this post! I have a canon and it's definitely worth it. I haven't discovered all of the settings but the ones I have found are amazing. I have one of the less expensive canon's yet it still takes great quality pictures and videos. Hope this was helpful x
