I would be a liar if I said having no views on my blog didn't matter to me, yes, it is my hobby and something I enjoy, but the whole point of having a blog is reaching out to people you don't know and having your own space to write!
Seeing the views on my blog rise brings me so much happiness, knowing people want to read and are interested in my blog makes everything so worth it!
So over the past week I have been thinking, how can I make my blog more than what it is now, and I have come up with the Idea of reaching out to small business's to help with promoting their business.
I'm not doing this for money or free things, I intend to purchase their products and give and honest review and maybe help them gain more interest.
So with that, I thought- I need a business card!
One of the top and leading business card design and printing services is, Vistaprint.
Because blogging is different than an everyday business, I designed a postcard instead, which is a little bigger and feels more personal, it features my blog logo, what my blog is about and contact details.
I intend to hand these out and maybe even see about putting them in my local news paper (with permission of course)
After I designed these cards, I then went to check out, but as most business's they try to persuade you to buy more of their products by showing you what else they can offer, and they succeeded and I got a little carried away.
So I also bought, a notebook with my logo on, stickers of my logo and a lovely phone case with my logo on too.
This is a great way of promoting your blog, obviously for me I have other intentions as well, but you could make just a business card or postcard with your blog logo and website address and hand these out in your local community to gain more interest and readers.
