What's On Your Nightstand?

(Things on my Nightstand- Mini Tripod - Ornaments- Ring Holder- Cactus- Lamp- Books)

I think my Nightstand/Beside table (Whatever you call it) compliments me quite well, it always has a variety of things on it, as like me I swap and change what I like, the only thing that my pictures are missing are the mug rings and a good months collection of dust ( I kindly wiped it all down and made it presentable for you, aren't I nice, HA!).

So what is on my Nightstand you might ask, well lets have a look see, there is:

(Elephant Ornament and Shells)

This lovely little fellow who has been in my life for over 10 years, I found this guy on a market stall and I absolutely (Weirdly) love the smell of him, he was made in India which I think is what makes him smell so nice but anyway I proudly put him on display because it's always nice to own something that you've had a long time and has had a significance in your life.
Also the shells you see in the picture are one's I have picked up on beaches, every time I go to the beach I have to look for shells I think they make lovely little ornaments.

(Nitendo Ds and Advance Game Cartridges)

Something I love to do when I am in bed is play on my Nintendo Ds, I find it really therapeutic playing on mind games like Professor Layton and as you see here Brain Age games, also I won't deny I do like playing the odd game like Mario Kart and Crash Bandicoot, so these are always lying around where I have been to lazy to put them back in their cases(Sorry not sorry).

(Cat ring holder)
This Gem I got as a Christmas present a few years a go from my mum, if I remember correctly she got it from a little shop called Tolsey Two which is a gift shop in Dursley and Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, where I am from.
I love rings and I don't own enough of them(This will change, just you wait) so at night before I go to sleep, I take off my rings and put them on this Cat ring holder so they don't get lost.

(Books- Sylvia Day,Captivated by you - Andrew N. Williams, The Truth About You - Palm Reading)

Reading is one of my favourite hobbies, currently I am reading Captivated By You by Sylvia Day which is the fourth in the Bared To You series and I like to have a little flick through The Truth About You by Andrew N. Williams which tests you so you can analyse your personality, once again this is something I have owned for like ever, my mum gave it to me so god know's how long she had it for so it is a little tatty and frayed round the edges.
As you can see there is also a little mini Palm Reading book, first of all this book is cute as hell and secondly I am in to weird mystical shiznig so I actually find it all quite fascinating.
You can also see I have a Really Tiny Book Light by If which is amazing when your partner or friend is asleep and you want to read without waking them, you can also get it in many different colours.

Also on my Nightstand that you can't see is a lamp and a mini tripod (which you can see slightly in one of the photos), I don't ever use the mini tripod because it's for my old camera but it looks cute so I use it as an ornament, oh and of course there is a cactus (I am a blogger you know!).

I think the Nightstand/Bedside Table/Holder of things is a bedroom essential, I mean you always need something to put your junk on when you're too lazy or warm to get out of bed, it also provides you with immediate phone access, woo!

I have linked where you can the buy the books and games if you're interested in grabbing a copy.

So all back to the first important question, What's On Your Nightstand? Leave me a comment below young hobbits :)

Pssst you might of noticed that my nightstand is in my profile photo and looks completely bare, that is because I was in the middle of cleaning it when I got selfie urges :)

I actually think my Gran has something similar carved from wood as I always love admiring her Elephant collection as she loves them and has lot's of different shapes and sized all made from different materials, I'm not sure if she collected them on her travels but I might have to ask about that the next time I visit ha,ha xx
